Musafir Indian was founded to bring the purest form and rich rituals of traditional Indian cuisine to Istanbul.

Our journey began with the arrival in Istanbul of our chefs, who had cooked for years across India’s different provinces, and their dream of blending their own culture with the abundance of ingredients here. Our goal is not merely to fill stomachs, but to let you feel India’s mystical, colorful and joyful atmosphere with every plate.

We never use ready-made mixes or artificial colorings in our dishes. We import all our essential spices such as saffron, cumin, coriander, cardamom and garam masala as seeds or leaves from local producers in India, and grind them fresh in our kitchen every day.

Fresh Spice Grinding

So that the aromatic oils of our spices are never lost, we grind and roast them fresh in a stone mortar every morning. This is the signature secret of our curries.

Genuine Clay Tandoor

Our chicken and naan breads are cooked at high heat in our traditional charcoal-fired clay oven (Tandoor), brought specially from India.

Atithi Devo Bhava

With this ancient motto, which means "The Guest is God" in Indian culture, we welcome every traveler who walks through our door with deep respect and a warm smile.
